The Justice of the Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party against the election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressive Congress (APC), for lacking in merit.
The Judgement was prepared and read by Justice Garba Lawal.
Other Justices who made up the panel for Lagos are, Justice Inyang Okoro, Emmanuel Agim, uwani Abba-aji, Adamu Jauro, where Justice Garba Lawal read the lead judgement in the Lagos State governorship dispute.
They noted that the petition is a gross abuse of the court process.
The apex court is now moving to the case of the People’s Democratic Party’s governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran against Sanwo-Olu.
