Tinubu mandates manufacturers to return to previous cement price

Cement companies have been instructed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to return to the normal pricing of the commodity.

This was announced to reporters by the Minister of Works, senator David Umahi, following the inspection of the BUA cement factory on Thursday in Sokoto.

The Minister mentioned that during a meeting with manufacturers, President Tinubu instructed them to revert to the previous cement price.

According to Daily Trust, he said: “I want to encourage them to abide by the directive of Mr. President so that we can achieve massive housing programme and the renewed hope agenda of concrete roads of by the President.”

He applauded the company’s management for maintaining cleanliness throughout its premises.
