William Saliba: Premier league best center back this season?

It was argued by Arsenal fans all over that the collapse of their title charge ended with William Saliba picking that back injury late in the season against Sporting Libson. Fast forward to this season William Saliba played at Liverpool’s Anfield for the first time and ended the day with player of the match award following Arsenal 1-1 draw, game in which the gunners went ahead courtesy of Gabriel header following a well taken set piece from gunners skiller Martin Odegaard.
Against City at the Ethihad, Saliba was also awarded player of the match having kept Haaland and co quiet in a goaless draw. A game in which City failed to trouble David Raya on goal thanks to Saliba and his ever reliable defensive duo Gabriel.
And now against Manchester United at Old Trafford, William Saliba has just won player of the match after the gunners 1-0 win at Old Trafford to help keep their dream alive of winning the trophy the conveted and last won 2004.
