Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has sanctioned the release of N38.5 million in scholarships for 77 students hailing from the state and pursuing studies at the Nigerian Law School. This decision, outlined in a statement by Salisu Lawal-Kerau, spokesperson for the State Scholarship Board, aims to support these students during the academic sessions of 2021/2022 and 2022/2023.
The initiative, aimed at easing financial burdens amid prevailing economic challenges, underscores the governor’s commitment to prioritizing education. Arrangements for the disbursement of these funds to the deserving law students have been finalized by the board.
