Manchester United center back Raphael Varane has confirmed he would be leaving United after the expiration of his contract at the end of the season. The France center back joined from Real Madrid in the summer of 2021 and made his debut away at Wolves on the 29th of August contributing with an assist as United won 1-0 away from home. His first goal for the club came against Brentford in a 3-0 win for United on 2nd of May 2022. He has gone on to lift the EFL trophy after Manchester United defeated Newcastle 2-0 in the final of the 2022/2023 season on February the 26th.
