The MOK Foundation has actively enrolled 300 indigent students for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination in Kwara State. This initiative, conducted in two phases, commenced at the foundation’s headquarters in Offa, Offa local government area of the state.
Speaking on behalf of the founder, Mr. Lawal Saheed, the executive director of the foundation emphasized that education is a cornerstone of their mission. The free JAMB registration program aims to empower talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds by eliminating financial barriers to their educational aspirations. He reiterated the foundation’s belief in providing equal opportunities for all children to fulfill their potential, irrespective of their circumstances. The selection process for the 300 recipients was rigorous, considering academic achievement, financial need, and commitment to community service.Expressing gratitude, one beneficiary, Ayomide Oparinde, conveyed appreciation for the scholarship provided by the MOK Foundation.
Mr. Muhydeen Bammeke, the head of the department of humanities at the Federal Polytechnic Offa, commended the founder’s philanthropic efforts, highlighting the role of entrepreneurship in giving back to society.
Mr. Laolu Oyawoye, the secretary of ANCOPSS and principal of Moremi High School, lauded the MOK Foundation for its impactful work in empowerment, personal development, economic advancement, and community enrichment, affirming the founder’s legacy in gold.
