Calzona lauds AFCON star Osimhen

Napoli manager, Francesco Calzona has praised the performances of Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia and his team for the outstanding performances.
According to Tribal Sport, Calzona said,”I believe it, as long as mathematics doesn’t condemn us I don’t see why I shouldn’t believe it.
“We know it’s difficult but we have to play this card. Victor needed to get back into his rhythm after the Africa Cup of Nations, he asked me twice to be changed, even Kvara who was having difficulties but I will never give up on these players I can also decide to change them to keep the intensity high but having two players like this is important for me.”

Calzona expresses satisfaction with Napoli’s progress

“This team has it in its soul to be proactive and I’m happy because the boys gave me great availability during the week and despite the thousand difficulties they had they made themselves available and day day after day we improved the quality of training. I like playing football because by playing well I think it is easier to achieve goals.”
Napoli will face Juventus in a league game at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday, March 3.
