A two-week deadline has been issued to kylian Mbappe to make a decision about his future by the president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al Khelaifi. He said Mbappe must either sign a new contract with Ligue 1 champions or depart this summer. Al Khelaifi restated the time frame by saying, “Kylian Mbappé has to make a decision within the next week or two, no longer than that.”
Al Khelaifi pointed out that no one, not even himself or any player, is greater than the club, and that if Mbappé chooses not to sign a new contract, the club’s door will be wide open for him to leave. He said “No one is bigger than the club, no player, not even me. It’s very clear,” as he conveyed to Le Parisien.
In June, Mbappé told PSG that he would not extend his stay at the Park Des Princes beyond 2024. However, the club does not want him to enter the final stages of his contract without taking any action.
