A post on X confirmed that the remains of the former Governor of Ondo State, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, has arrived in Nigeria.
The late Governor’s wife, Betty watched as his corpse was unboarded from an aircraft.
It was said that the corpse arrived in Nigeria from Germany at about 3:39 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Remember, that the late Governor returned to Nigeria in September after a three month medical leave in Germany. He also went on another medical leave and handed over power to his deputy, lucky Aiyedatiwa as instructed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
